Welcome to MapleOS
MapleOS is a desktop operating experience built around apps, privacy, and human control. It works beautifully as a classic desktop, and it becomes even more powerful when you add optional AI, repeatable blueprints, and permission-aware automation.
Desktop first
Start from the desktop, keep multiple windows open, and move naturally between files, tools, and focused work.
Human in control
Trust Mode is optional, Sealed Memory is opt-in, and access controls define what MapleOS can see or do.
Useful with or without AI
Office tools, files, utilities, and apps stand on their own. AI is there to help, not to take over.
The MapleOS philosophy
Software should give humans back leverage, not take it away.
MapleOS treats the desktop as a place for real work: documents, files, windows, utilities, and apps that fit together. Intelligence belongs inside that system, not above it.
That is why MapleOS emphasizes visible controls. You can keep interactions sandboxed, seal memory until you explicitly opt in, and decide when the system should act with more autonomy.
What that means in practice
- Apps stay understandable and easy to open from the desktop.
- MaplePT can assist, but the desktop remains useful even when AI is off.
- Users choose when knowledge, memory, and automation become part of a workflow.
