MapleOS AI Center Application Questions

Hi Vince and team. I've been exploring the new build this morning before the rest of my day starts and I must say I like it. I was a bit skeptical at first that I'd be able to use anything other than Windows but this system actually reminds me of when Windows was good. You've got something very, very good here. I know CanXP is new. But you've must of been working on this for years?

Anyways I've been playing around with the AI Center Application. One of my biggest issues with current Windows is I simply don't feel comfortable using it when I see Copilot and other AI services forced into my work. As an urban architect I often have access to materials that can not be shared with the general public and certainly not with a foreign agency like Microsoft. Microsoft has lost there way in my mind. I no longer trust them. Their cloud based CEO is too focused on putting everyone in the cloud.

  • Can you tell us a little bit about the AI Center and the tools we have here?

  • I see we have the ability to turn on "Emulation Analytics" I assume this gives you access to anonymous telemetry about what I am doing?

  • I also see that you have the ability to "Stop" All AI Access. Does this mean that I can still use AI but the OS is no longer using AI in the background? Or does this mean that AI is completely off even for me as a user?

  • What is Trust Mode? How does it work? I'm really interested in this.

  • I see there is a new model now called MaplePT-Free. What is this model? Is this the same model you released last year or is this a new model special to the OS?

  • Can we get a list of all Applications released and maybe a few lines about the state of each?

Thank you!

P.S. Can we get a new forum category called "MapleOS"

Great questions Tim! We're still patching a final release state. Once we're there I will tackle your questions.
