I was in the field today and GPT was choppy so we decided to give the service a try. It went great and the service delivered as a solid backup to our usual process. The mobile connection worked well and the AI feed came through fast. One of the things we've noticed is how much faster the AI seems to respond on a Canadian connection. This makes sense but people don't realize until they experience it.

Is it possible we can get a service status page when the service is up or down or busy? I believe Ollama can provide that out of the box? Maybe we can tap into it for the website?

Sure Ken we should be able to provide that. We already provide a status down message if the whole system goes down. And the models do provide their own status messages. But we could have some better messages for folks. I'll see what we can do.

Thanks Vince and good to know about status. Most of these new AI services have their ups and downs. It's not like web2.0 stuff. Alot of people still need some education on AI systems and why they need to go up and down.
