Vince is it possible we can get some more forum categories to choose from? I'm never sure which to choose.

Anyways. We've been testing the desktop client here at the shop and we have all came to the same conclusion. Winner!

We absolutely love the desktop application of CanXP. It met and beat all of our expectations. It is very fast. Loads very fast. It feels like a native application. In-fact our guys thought it was native. Is it native? This codebase feels very mature and stable for its age. Well done.

Anyways I think everyone that hasn't tried out the desktop application should give it a whirl. It's a real treat. We've got nothing like this with the services we're using right now except maybe copilot which no one likes. We really don't have the IT support to run our own Ollama stuff and everything else just seems so complicated but this was so easy to setup 2 clicks and it was running and I was asking the AI questions.

This is a really good product and I hope it gets wide adoption. I have some suggestions for the future app. Where is the best place to write those?

Thanks for the post Tim. I really hope we have serious adoption of both our web and desktop services. We've taken great care in developing the desktop application. To answer your question we are not using React Native but we are using a React PWA which is bundled with our desktop client. You are running our entire client locally which is why it feels as good as it does. This is the same technology we developed with our parent company years ago. And I would argue it is truly the best of all worlds for an application like CanXP.

As for features. I will add some more forum categories including a Features category! Thanks for the suggestion.

Hey Vince, yes - let's add a Feature Request category ASAP! We aim to publish our roadmap in due course, and invite all ideas - good, bad and ugly.
